Signage only keeps working for a brand if it keeps working: lit at night, clean in the day, and structurally sound in UAE heat, humidity, and wind. Metroplus provides ongoing maintenance for the signage we install and for existing signage from other suppliers, covering routine inspection, cleaning, electrical and LED repair, and structural checks for fascia, pylon, monument, and illuminated signage across Dubai and the wider UAE.
Preventive maintenance is a scheduled inspection and service visit before something fails: checking LED modules, drivers, and wiring, cleaning acrylic and metal faces, and inspecting structural mounts and foundations for corrosion or movement. Corrective maintenance responds to an issue already reported, a dead section of lettering, a flickering panel, or storm damage, with a technician dispatched to diagnose and repair on site or return with replacement parts where needed.
A maintenance visit typically covers a visual and electrical inspection of the sign structure, illumination, and mounting hardware, along with cleaning of acrylic faces, metal cladding, and lenses to keep brightness and finish consistent. For illuminated signage, our technicians test drivers, transformers, and LED modules, and replace failed components to restore full illumination rather than leaving a sign partially lit.
Facade-mounted and elevated signage needs safe access, so maintenance visits are planned with the right equipment, cherry pickers, scaffolding, or rope access, depending on height and site conditions, and scheduled around building access hours where required. For urgent issues such as a damaged pylon sign or an electrical fault, we offer emergency response to make the sign safe and functional as quickly as site access allows.
For clients with multiple signs or locations, we offer Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) with scheduled visits, priority response times, and a single point of contact instead of ad hoc call-outs. Each visit is documented with before-and-after photos and a condition report, so building owners and brand teams have a clear record of what was inspected, repaired, and replaced over time.
