Stretch Ceiling Works for Contemporary Spaces
Stretch ceiling works provide sleek, modern ceiling solutions that combine aesthetics with functionality. Designed using flexible membrane materials, stretch ceilings offer smooth finishes, concealed lighting integration, and acoustic benefits. Stretch ceiling works are ideal for commercial, retail, hospitality, and residential interiors seeking a refined appearance. They allow creative design options including printed visuals, lighting effects, and customized layouts. Easy maintenance and durability make stretch ceiling works a practical and visually appealing solution for modern architectural spaces.
Illuminated Stretch Ceilings and Light Walls
Create a luminous ceiling or wall as part of the complete interior design. Metroplus can review the proposed membrane or face system, available cavity and lighting arrangement against the intended appearance. A useful brief addresses access, controls and coordination as well as the illuminated surface that visitors see.
Review the complete assembly
Identify the selected face material, supporting profile, cavity dimensions and lighting components. The visible result depends on the combination, so approving the light source alone is not enough. Discuss seams, perimeter details and how the surface meets adjacent finishes before developing the final construction.
Approve appearance on a representative sample
Use a mock-up with the actual materials and relevant geometry to review illumination, shadows and perimeter appearance. Agree viewing conditions and any measurement method before assessment. Photographs help record the sample but should not replace the agreed review of the assembled system.
Coordinate services and controls
Plan the relationship with sprinklers, ventilation, detectors and other building services through the responsible project teams. Identify the control method, operating scenes and who commissions the lighting. Model-specific compatibility and any required performance evidence should be confirmed for the selected components and assembly.
Keep the installation serviceable
Show how the face is removed or opened and how drivers and lighting components can be reached. Record cleaning and maintenance instructions appropriate to the actual materials. If future repairs require specialist handling, identify the process and access requirements in the handover information.
