Signage fabrication for contractors and agencies

Signage fabrication for contractors and agencies

Metroplus fabricates signage for fit-out contractors, design agencies and other trade buyers from our production facility in Jebel Ali.

A clear production scope

Bring your approved artwork, sign schedule or fabrication drawings to Metroplus for a production review. Start by identifying the components you need, the quantities and the responsibilities that remain with your team. A clear scope helps us discuss materials, samples, fabrication and delivery without assuming that design, approvals or installation are included.

Agree the details before production

The review should establish artwork readiness, material references, finish samples, illumination requirements and the information needed for manufacture. Where dimensions or fixing interfaces are supplied by another party, record who verifies them before production is released. Confirm the packaging, labelling and delivery sequence for the receiving site or installer.

Send a trade brief

Share your drawing revision, quantities, target programme and delivery location. Tell us whether you require fabricated components only or a separately scoped installation service. We can then identify missing information and prepare a project-specific proposal. Any confidentiality or unbranded packaging requirements should be agreed in writing before work begins.

White-label and subcontract production

Metroplus reviews trade enquiries from agencies and contractors who need signage components or finished signs produced to an agreed specification. Discuss the required manufacturing scope, presentation, packaging and delivery arrangements before confirming a white-label or subcontract production order.

Set the approval and communication route

Agree who approves drawings and samples and who communicates with the end client. Record confidentiality, branding and direct-contact arrangements where required; these are commercial terms to be agreed, not assumed. Keep revisions traceable so production follows the final authorised files.

Choose the supply boundary

The order may cover individual components, assembled signs or a package with delivery and separately agreed installation support. Identify electrical components, mounting provisions and accessories explicitly. Confirm what the receiving contractor must supply or complete so the manufacturing scope matches the intended handover.

Plan packing and repeat orders

Discuss protective packaging, identification labels and the sequence in which items will be unpacked. Where neutral packaging is required, confirm the exact arrangement before dispatch. Retain the approved specification and component references for repeat work, while checking whether materials or models have changed since the previous order.

Questions

What do you need to quote a trade fabrication job?

Approved artwork or fabrication drawings with the revision, quantities, materials and finish references if known, the delivery location and the date you need the components.

Is installation included?

Not unless it is agreed. Trade fabrication can be quoted as components only; installation, approvals and site work are scoped separately when you need them.

Is neutral packaging available?

Request it as part of the trade brief. Packaging and labelling arrangements are confirmed for each order.

Can production follow our own drawings?

Submit the current approved drawings for review. Clarify responsibility for design, fabrication detailing and any specialist checks before release.
