Architectural signage is designed as part of a building rather than added onto it afterward, integrating facade lettering, illuminated logos, monument and pylon signs, interior branding, and wayfinding into the building’s materials, structure, and approval process from day one. Metroplus designs, engineers, and fabricates architectural signage for corporate offices, retail and mixed-use developments, and hospitality properties across Dubai and the UAE, managing every stage in our own Dubai production facility.
Architectural signage projects typically combine several sign families into one coordinated system: illuminated building-top and facade lettering, halo-lit or push-through logos, monument and pylon signs at entrances, interior lobby and directional signage, and wayfinding that carries the same brand language from the street into the building. We design each family to work together, using consistent typography, materials, and lighting so the building reads as one identity rather than a set of separate signs.
We start with concept design aligned to the building’s architecture and the client’s brand guidelines, then develop detailed technical drawings covering dimensions, mounting methods, structural loads, and power and lighting routes. For larger or more visible installations, we produce material samples and, where needed, a full-scale mock-up so the client and building consultants can sign off on finish, colour, and illumination before fabrication begins.
Fabrication runs through our in-house workshop, using CNC routing and laser cutting for precision letterforms and panels, with PVDF coating, powder coating, electroplating, and anodizing lines for finishing metal and acrylic components. Because architectural signage sits on or near a building facade, most projects require sign-off from the developer, mall management, or municipality before installation; we prepare the structural and design submissions needed for that approval. Installation is scheduled around building access, using cranes or mobile platforms for facade-level work, and we offer ongoing maintenance to keep illuminated architectural signage performing to the same standard for years after installation.
Metroplus designs, engineers, and fabricates architectural signage entirely within our own Dubai facility, from CNC-cut letterforms to metal finishing and LED illumination, so materials, tolerances, and finish quality stay consistent from concept to installation. Our team manages design approvals, structural documentation, and installation scheduling directly with developers, mall operators, and municipalities, and we support multi-building or multi-location branding programmes with the same design and fabrication standards across every site.
