For retail groups, franchise operators, brand managers and rollout contractors
Keep one brand recognisable across different buildings, landlords and opening programmes. A retail rollout needs a repeatable signage standard with enough control to manage site-specific differences. Metroplus can review your brand requirements and location list to develop a proposed package around prototypes, approved variations, production batches and installation records.

Approve a master specification
Start with the sign family, artwork, materials, finishes and lighting appearance. Record the approved prototype and its component references so future batches have a clear benchmark. Where the brand uses several storefront formats, define the permitted variants rather than asking each location to interpret the identity independently.
Record the differences between sites
Survey fascia dimensions, mounting conditions, available services and access restrictions. Landlord requirements may change the permitted arrangement even when the brand standard remains the same. Keep a variation register showing what differs, why it differs and who approved it before site-specific artwork moves into production.
Release work in controlled batches
Tie each manufacturing release to an approved drawing revision and an agreed site list. Coordinate packaging and sign identification so the right components arrive at the right store. Programme commitments should reflect actual approval status, material availability and site readiness rather than a single launch date detached from those dependencies.
Maintain the standard after opening
Retain completion photographs, sign references and the approved replacement specification for each location. A consistent record makes it easier to order another store package or assess a damaged sign. Maintenance and future replacement arrangements can then be discussed against an identifiable installation rather than a generic brand description.
