Sleep 'n Fly Sleep Lounge – Airport Signage brought Metroplus in to deliver an illuminated logo sign at Dubai International Airport – Departures Lounge. The glowing teal Sleep 'n Fly logo sits on a rich timber wall, helping travellers spot the lounge in the terminal.

Logo panels are built as a single unit, with the mark, frame and lighting designed together so illumination is even and fixings stay hidden.

Airport and travel-hub locations bring strict access, safety and approval requirements, so planning, materials and installation are all handled to the operator's standards.

Installation inside an operating terminal is scheduled around passenger flow and security procedures, with materials and methods agreed in advance with the operator.

All fabrication for this project was carried out in-house at our Jebel Ali and Sharjah production facilities, from shop drawings through to on-site installation, so design intent, quality and programme stay under one roof.

Technology and fabrication

Dimensional letters and logos are CNC-cut and fabricated as individual units, with returns, faces and backs finished to suit the surface they mount on. Front-lit, halo-lit or combined illumination is chosen to match the brand look, and LED layout is designed to prevent visible dots or shadows on the face.
