Metroplus Advertising is a leading signage solution company in Dubai, delivering full-service advertising and branding solutions tailored to each client’s needs. From simple reception signage and shopfront illuminated signs to complete building sign systems, retail graphics, brand logo revamps, and advanced LED signage maintenance, we provide end-to-end turnkey solutions under one roof.

We operate through four major divisions—Signage, Print, Media, and Digital Signage—enabling us to offer comprehensive branding solutions for retail, corporate, and public environments, covering both ATL and BTL activities. As a production-based company, we have fully equipped workshops in Dubai and Sharjah, serving a diverse portfolio of local and multinational clients. While we primarily focus on the GCC market, we also support projects across the wider MENA region through trusted supplier and installer networks.

Our Journey

Metroplus began in 2004 as Swiss Mountain Trading in Murshid Bazar, Deira, starting with plotter-cut signs before being renamed Metroplus Advertising as the signage division took shape. Over the following two decades we expanded steadily: large sign divisions rolled out across Dubai in 2009, a fully equipped Sharjah warehouse opened in 2011, and our own lighting brands — Ecolit, E-star, and Brightluxx — launched in 2013.

In 2015, IHG acquired the whole of Metroplus under the IHG INDUSTRY banner and formed a partnership with Led World Lighting and Prastara, broadening our manufacturing and product capabilities. Lumibright UK’s largest product release followed in 2017, and in 2019 we were recognized with the INSIDE OUT AWARDS 2019 for ‘Best for Lighting’. In 2022, we announced the opening of our new headquarters and the rebranding of Ledworld & Metro as IHG INDUSTRY, with a new 200,000 sq. ft. HQ in Al Quoz.

Today, that journey adds up to over 22 years in the market, 7000+ completed projects, and 1200+ clients served — supported by manufacturing and warehousing facilities spanning more than 220,000 sq. ft. across Dubai and Sharjah.

Who we are

A Signage Manufacturer, Not a Reseller

Metroplus Advertising started in 2004 in Deira, Dubai, and has grown into a signage, digital display and facade manufacturer working from its own facilities in Jebel Ali and Sharjah as part of the IHG Industry group.

Design, fabrication, finishing and installation are handled by our own teams, so clients deal with one accountable partner from the first site survey to handover, and every sign is built and checked on our own production floor before it reaches site.

Most of our work is installed across the UAE, from malls and high streets in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah to hospitals, showrooms and factories in the Northern Emirates.

When clients expand abroad, we manufacture in Dubai and ship signage ready to install, such as the Chicking restaurant signage that now welcomes travellers at Bole Addis Ababa International Airport in Ethiopia.
